Meet Dr. Joseph E. Carlisle

Dr Joseph E Carlisle is a graduate of The Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He completed his internship in anesthesiology at Eugene Talmadge Memorial Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, and also received his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at The Medical College of Georgia. Dr Carlisle is a member of The American Dental Association and The South Carolina Dental Association. He is also a member of The South Carolina Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and The Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr Carlisle is certified by The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a Fellow of The Pierre Fouchard Dental Academy and the founder of The Carolina Oral Implant Study Society. Dr Carlisle has an intense interest in dental anesthesia, being a Fellow of The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and a Diplomate of The National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He has served on the Board of Directors of The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology since 1999.
